Fatas Mandalas's self-titled is an incredibly chill, somewhat soft release that urges more a need to listen to the rhythm to understand what could be seen as uneventful if you're looking for immediacy in your music. Imagine enjoying the slow and calm nature of a park, and how peaceful it is to be there. That's what it feels like with Mandalas's steady guitar riffs and gentle percussion. There's joy in simplicity, and this self-titled speaks to that truth. Take a listen then~ Favorite track: Flowers On The Wall.

about

Songs recorded between January/May 2016.
All songs written by Fatas Mandalas except „Flowers On The Wall“ originally written by Tomorrows Tulips.
Artwork by Niclas Gerull.

I actually was never satisfied with writing songs in the 9 years of doing music before I came across garage rock from the 60's and bands from nowadays that do rock n roll/garage music/lofi diy pop-rock.

Sick Hyenas were the first band that I saw at a festival in Berlin in 2014 that made me start a one-man-band garage pop project, so now these are my really first songs I'm satisfied with and I'm happy to have the chance to release them, I'm now a loser doing loser garage pop.

Thanks/Love/Respect to: Filip / Z Tapes, my cathedral Stereo Reverb, Niclas, my family, my little brother who always hates me when I sing, all the bands that inspired me for Fatas Mandalas (Sick Hyenas, Dead Ghosts, Gorgeous Bully, Dying Adolescence, Surf Curse, Tomorrows Tulips) and of course you!
